This article is for Faculty who are working with learning tool interoperability (LTI) assignments from a current term imported into Canvas course shells for upcoming terms. Third party external tools such as: Turnitin, GoReact, and LinkedIn Learning must be deleted and re-created once copied to course shells for the next term. Learning tool interoperability or (LTI) external tools added as the submission type to Canvas assignments are tied to a course's term and student submissions in the grade book. Course copied (LTI) assignments that are not deleted and recreated in new courses will display error messages for your students.
