This article is for students accessing Student Evaluations of Learning Experience (course evaluations) through their Canvas course.
Additionally, students can access evaluations through the email, which contains a direct link to the survey(s). Survey emails are distributed to student Horizon emails when the survey period opens.
Article Overview
1. Open the Course in Canvas
Sign in to CSUEB's Canvas system here using your NetID and password.
Each course contains a Course Evaluation link within it, open up a course. Any course will show all active course evaluation surveys.
2. Access the Course Evaluation Link
The Course Evaluation link is located in the Course Navigation panel to the left.
If you are unable to view the Course Navigation panel, you can un-hide it by clicking the hamburger (three lines) menu icon at the top left.
3. Launch the Course Evaluation
The evaluation dashboard will contain all course evaluations available for you to take. Confirm which course and instructor you are about to evaluate, then click on the respective red arrow to launch the evaluation.
A certificate of completion will be sent to your student email. The red arrow will also turn green to indicate completion of a course evaluation.
