Using Panopto Capture in Canvas to Record Lecture Videos

Updated on

This article is for Faculty who would like to record lecture videos directly into a page in Canvas using Panopto's Capture feature. Faculty can share and record a tab in their browser while recording themselves lecturing and advancing through course material already inside Canvas. This is a helpful workflow for faculty working on a laptop without external monitors connected.

The Modules tab can be found in the Course Navigation to the left in Canvas.
